Our client is a leading worldwide manufacturer of slitter rewinding machines for paper, cardboard, film or foil shaping and converting.
>>MISSION<<
This role will provide technical/mechanical assistance for installation, maintenance (both programmed and corrective), training and support related to large machineries sold by the Company to its customers. We are looking for someone with mechanical background. IT experience is not enough.
>>RESPONSIBILITIES<<
- machine Mechanical and Electrical assembly;
- be part of installation of machines supporting the assigned team of installer;
- arrange, coordinate and participate to the final test of the machines at the customers site in order to grant the acceptance of the product by the customer;
- assist customers for mechanical on warranty and out of warranty services ensuring the prompt repair of the equipment;
- check and verify the correct utilization of the equipment together with safety measures used by operators;
- support customers with local presence and production support in case of assignment contractually agreed;
- machine troubleshooting, repair;
- customer maintenance support;
- perform training courses on machine preventive maintenance;
- draft repairs report to share with customers and to the manager in charge;
- coordinate the activity of the support team within the geographic area assigned;
- promote to customers list of spares and service products;
>>REQUIREMENTS<<
- 2-5 years of experience in the same role in the same market (converting);
- available to travel at least 150 days per year and to work during week end if needed;
- mechanics skills;
- basic assembly blue print reading;
- machine Tools Basic Equipment knowledge ;
- mechanical/ Electrical Schematic basic knowledge (capability to read electric diagrams);
- hydraulic / Pneumatic basic knowledge (capability to read hydraulic & pneumatic diagrams);
- basic knowledge how to use mechanical/electrical tools;
- Microsoft office pack;

- capability to organize the team in order to grant to the customers a prompt and proper support;
- proactive approach;
- hands- on approach;
- able to withstand the pressure;
- commercial capability in order to manage the relationship with the customer in difficult situation;
