News Corporation’s Rupert and James Murdoch have agreed to face questions from MPs next week about the phone-hacking scandal.
The Murdochs will be in attendance with Rebekah Brooks, the embattled chief exeucutive of News International, on Tuesday next week.

Martin Bowley, the former chief executive of Carlton Media Sales, has joined London-based digital creative agency Acknowledgement as a board advisor.
Bowley will work with the Acknowledgement team to push forward its mobile and social offering. He will focus on helping the agency develop its entertainment client base.
DLKW Lowe has appointed DDB London’s creative directors Dave Henderson and Richard Denney as its executive creative directors. The pair, who will work closely with joint chief executives Tom Knox and Richard Warren, replace George Prest, who resigned from his role in January.
Rufus Olins, the chief executive of Warc, has resigned with immediate effect after nearly three years at the marketing intelligence group. Olins joined Warc in January 2009 from Haymarket Media Group, where he was managing director of Haymarket Brand Media, the publisher of Campaign.
Anna Crona, the marketing director of Ikea UK & Ireland, is leaving after 25 years at the furniture retailer. The retailer plans to replace Crona, but in the interim the role will be covered by Martin Hansson, Ikea UK’s retail manager.
The independent clearing house group has appointed Tom Zschach as group chief information officer. Previously, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was managing director and co-head of global rates and currencies technology infrastructure.

T he corporate and investment banking arm of RBC appointed Judith Fishlow Minter as co-head of the U.S. Loan Capital Markets Investment Banking group . Prior to this, Minter was a managing partner at North Sea Partners.
The legal services provider appointed Robert Bostrom as partner and co-head of its global financial institutions and funds sector. Bostrom is an executive vice-president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Freddie Mac.

The wealth management unit of Barclays Plc appointed Christian Berchem as managing director, head of high net worth for UK & Ireland Private Bank. Berchem joins Barclays Wealth from JP Morgan.
The emerging markets investment bank appointed Jonathan Segal in London as managing director, global head of debt capital markets. Segal joins from Barclays Capital. It also appointed James Etherington as director, head of UK equity capital markets. Etherington joins from RBS.
The tax and audit services provider appointed Pierre Bourlatchka as director. Bourlatchka, who was previously with F&C Asset Management, will join Kinetic Partners’ risk management consulting and monitoring team in London.
