Astus appoints Starcom’s Jamie Pearson as UK media director. Former Starcom business director Jamie Pearson has resurfaced as UK media director at corporate barter company Astus.

Pearson, who will take up his new role next month, will report to David Jones,who was promoted from media director to UK MD in January. He will be responsible for the media placement of Astus’ 115 clients.

Guy Cornelius left his position as co-head of fixed income sales EMEA at Nomura Holdings to join US investment bank Jefferies in London on Thursday.

Nomura appointed former co-head Raffaele Ricci as sole head of fixed income sales to replace Guy Cornelius.
