Jimmy Choo brand finds new owner as founder stays on. Jimmy Choo, the luxury brand known for its women’s shoes, is to be acquired by Labelux, a privately-held luxury goods group, for an undisclosed sum.

Tamara Mellon, the founder and chief creative officer of Jimmy Choo, and chief executive officer Joshua Schulman, will stay on board and are investing in the Labelux subsidiary established to own Jimmy Choo.

ITV branded entertainment and digital sales director Gary Knight is to take the newly created role of commercial content director.

His remit will include work with the newly-formed client activation team. He will report to Simon Daglish director of multiplatform and partnerships.

Conde Nast has promoted Vanessa Kingori to the newly created position of associate publisher fashion of monthly men’s glossy GQ and publisher of bi-annual spin-off GQ Style.

Kingori, who joined the company two years ago, was previously fashion advertising director at GQ and associate publisher of GQ Style.

Omnicom’s M2M International has parted company with global managing director Peter Thomson, who founded the specialist media agency eight years ago.

Addiction London, part of the Addiction Worldwide boutique media group, has hired Justin Clouder as its planning director.

Clouder will report to Paul Hamilton, managing director, and Martin Delamare, brand strategy director, and will be responsible for strategic planning, brand strategy and client development for clients including Isme, Krispy Kreme and Remington.


The unit of Investec Ltd said Stephen White joined the company. White joins from Barclays.
