Louis Vuitton is to pay Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie more than £6m to be the face of its high-end fashion label.
The £6.1m ($10m) paid to Jolie is thought to be a record for a single advertising campaign.
The global print ad campaign is set to launch this summer and celebrated photographer Annie Leibovitz will take the photographs, according to reports.
Slazenger has poached England cricketing all-rounder Jimmy Anderson as a brand ambassador, after he jumped ship from rival cricket brand Mongoose.
Slazenger will now utilise Anderson in a summer marketing campaign that will run primarily across print and outdoor. Slazenger said it would announce further details of the campaign in due course.
Nationwide Building Society has hired Andy McQueen to the role of divisional director for customer strategy and marketing, replacing James Boulton with immediate effect.
McQueen, previously divisional director for mortgages and general insurance, is tasked with devising a new marketing strategy for Nationwide with its newly-appointed ad agency 18 Feet & Rising.
Elvis managing partner Mike Cullis is leaving the agency after nearly seven years to pursue his own business interests.
Cullis’ role will not be replaced directly. Cullis follows fellow co-founder and managing partner, Craig Morgan, in leaving the agency following a buyout. Only managing partner Emma Timbers remains.

Blakeman will lead OMD operations, drive existing client satisfaction as well as drive growth and enhance OMD’s value-proposition across the region.
MediaCom has appointed Carat’s Kate Rowlinson as its first new business and marketing director for EMEA.
The newly created role was previously split between Karen Blackett, who in December became chief executive of MediaCom UK and Fraser Riddell, global chief business development officer.
Rowlinson joins from Carat UK, where she was UK marketing and new business director, a role she was promoted to in 2009, from head of strategy.
Lida is expanding its planning department with a number of hires, including Christine Konrad Barton as strategy director, to handle key business including Boots and Ikea.
Konrad Barton joins from TBWA where she was a senior planner. She will provide strategic insight and work closely with Boots and Ikea’s acquisition and loyalty programmes.

The international banking and financial services firm appointed Devesh Kumar as Head of Equities, India, in a further move to grow the equities business in India and the region.

The international investment firm appointed Steven Carter as head of data management and John Poole as head of fund services.
