Bart Becht is retiring from his role as chief executive of Reckitt Benckiser after 12 years and will be replaced by marketer Rakesh Kapoor, executive vice president and global category manager.
Kapoor will take over on 1 September. Becht will stay on as a part-time adviser until September 2012 to ensure a smooth transition.
Bauer Media has appointed Joe Barnes, currently editor of Front magazine, as editor of its men’s lifestyle magazine FHM.
Barnes, who will take up the post on 13 June, joined Front as news editor in 2005, before being appointed editor in 2006.
Debenhams chief executive Rob Templeman is retiring after eight years at the company and will be replaced by deputy chief executive Michael Sharp.
Adam & Eve has hired Aidan McClure and Laurent Simon, the creative team behind the award-winning “polar bear” cinema ad for the climate change charity Plane Stupid. The pair join Adam & Eve from Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and will work across the agency’s client list. They will report to creative directors, Ben Priest, Emer Stamp and Ben Tollett.
Isobel has appointed The Red Brick Road’s business director, Barbara Waite, as its managing director. Waite will join the independent agency in the new role at the end of May and will sit on the management board with its co-founders Paul Houlding, Steve Hastings, Rob Fletcher, David Alexander and Sue Laing.
JWT London has appointed Marius Bartsch to the new role of head of customer relationship management. Bartsch joins the agency from Rapier, where he held the position of business director, working on accounts including Lloyds TSB and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
Draftfcb has promoted Sharon Jiggins from managing partner to the board position of managing director. Jiggins will take on the new role immediately and will continue to report to Draftfcb president Kate Howe. Jiggins has been at the agency for the past 12 years, leading several pieces of business, including the launch of Egg and the Post Office account.

Nasdaq Omx Group named Lee Shavel as chief financial officer and executive vice president of corporate strategy, effective May 23, 2011. It said Shavel joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Chief Executive David Liddy will step down at the end of 2011 after 10 years at the helm and the bank has started a search for his replacement, the Australian regional lender said on Thursday.
