Lastminute.com head of marketing Robert Moss is leaving the travel company for fashion website Mywardrobe.com.

Moss, who has been at Lastminute for more than two years, played a central role in the travel site’s recent move to reposition itself as an online portal for online travel, leisure and entertainment.

Spotify’s UK country director Jon Mitchell is understood to be leaving the company’s UK headquarters to assist with the launch of the digital music service in the US.

Spotify has assembled a commercial team in the US, comprising new hires and a number of current Spotify staff, ahead of a planned rollout of the music streaming service and is already meeting with potential advertising partners.

Microsoft has appointed Pete Clifton, the former BBC editor who helped build the BBC News website, as the executive producer for MSN.

He replaces Peter Bale, who previously was executive producer for MSN and then international programming director. Bale has left MSN to join CNN in the newly created role of vice-president and general manager of CNN International Digital.

CHI & Partners has poached Leo Burnett’s deputy executive creative director Jim Bolton to help boost its creative firepower.

The move reunites Bolton with Jonathan Burley, who left Leo Burnett to become CHI’s executive creative director in April last year.
Bolton will take on the role of creative director at CHI, working across a range of the agency’s key clients.

Jack Daniel’s has appointed Arnold KLP and Arnold Amsterdam to handle a global social media campaign breaking in May.

The appointment strengthens Arnold Worldwide’s existing relationship with the whiskey giant’s parent company, Brown-Forman, which also owns Southern Comfort.


The unit of The Royal London Mutual Insurance Ltd appointed Darren Bustin as Head of Derivatives. He was previously Head of Derivative Solutions at Aegon.


The wealth manager, which is a part of Royal Bank of Canada , hired Valery Zaikin as Director in its Private Client Fiduciary Services (PCFS) team.

He joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he worked as a senior fiduciary specialist and wealth planner.


The financial services provider appointed two more bankers to its High Net Worth business. Peter Arkell joins as a Director and Fred Lane joins as a Vice President, both were previously with Credit Suisse.


Bruce Moore will be joining the financial services firm as a Managing Director focusing on country coverage, Canadian Pension Funds and Sponsors in IBD Canada. He will be based in Toronto.


The unit of the Vontobel Group hired Stephen Tong and Roger Merz as portfolio managers at its global equities team. Tong joins from AllianceBernstein Investments and Merz from Goldman Sachs Asset Management.


The bank appointed Jon Stewart and Philip Dobbin as analysts. Stewart joins from Ignis Asset Management and Dobbin from boutique British investment bank Shore Capital.
