Barclays Wealth, the private banking arm of Barclays PLC, announced 12 director-level appointments in Singapore and Hong Kong.
The nine new hires in Singapore include Benjamin Yeo as head of research, economics and strategy for Asia and Eddie Tan as director for Singapore/Malaysia.
Yeo was formerly with Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp’s Bank of Singapore, while Tan came from JPMorgan Private Bank .
The three Hong Kong hires include Babara Yenson as director in the Hong Kong team and Joanna Ho as head of wealth advisory for North Asia.
Yenson was previously with RBS Coutts and Ho came from HSBC .
RBC CAPITAL MARKETS RBC Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada , named Paul Brady as head of its Leveraged Finance Europe. Brady joined as a managing director in 2008.

The banking solutions arm of Barclays said it appointed Miguel Didier as head of Cash Management for Barclays in Portugal.
CIBC The Canadian bank said it named Jim Thompson as director with the Corporate Solutions Group, based in Calgary, effective March 28. Previously, Thompson was at Iberdola Canada Energy Services.

The life insurance organisation said Chief Financial Officer Marc De Cure resigned for family reasons. The company said it was in the process of finding a replacement.
