Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the IT and telecommunication solutions with an international coverage

They are seeking a Public Safety Business Unit Manager to lead the division dedicated to biometric security solutions.


The PS Manager will be accountable for achieving the targeted sales budget through existing customers and development of new business opportunities. This role will require a broad knowledge of the public safety solutions with particular emphasis on sales to the Government/ Public sector. The role will require collaboration with other offices worldwide including their global headquarters.


  • Manage the biometric division in order to develop and expand the business in the Algerian market
  • Provide Public Safety overall expertise on technical and sales aspects along with excellent customer service during the sales process.
  • Identify and clarify client needs and requirements in order to build new business opportunities and develop existing customers
  • Manage technical, timing, financials and staffing of the project along with the collaboration of Pre-sales team and MENA PS team.
  • Manage accounts with business development experience seeks business initiative and new opportunities within existing customers or prospects
  • Prepare bid or tender accurate documentation together with the Technical Team.
  • Searching for Business Opportunities in Algeria Market and carrying all the business skills /competencies to give an overall picture as business forecast and planning (Yearly forecast /3 year/5 year)


  • Degree in Information technology or Engineering
  • Experience in projects related to security, cryptography, digital signature, biometric recognition and smart-cards.
  • Public Safety market knowledge
  • Ability to interface well with internal and external customers.
  • Able to liaise with senior managers on issues related to the area of expertise.
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Success-through-people, relationship-based, customer-focused.

  • Develop the account in terms of business continuity and growth. (Bringing new opportunities)
  • Management of project risk (integration, customisation, control on partner/subcontractor, defining each party SOW, etc)
